The purpose of the workshop is to analyze the current situation, current practices and make recommendations for the further development of sustainable tourism in rural areas of the APEC economies and to attract young people to participate in it.
Workshop will be held for two sessions: session 1 on April 29, 2024 (14:00 — 17:00 GMT+3) and session 2 on April 30, 2024 (14:00 — 17:00 GMT+3).
The objectives of the workshop:
- To identify key barriers and needs in the development of rural tourism;
- To determine the degree of involvement of young people in the development of rural tourism;
- To elaborate recommendations on the involvement of young people in the development of rural tourism;
- To assess the possibility of forming new methods of attracting young people to project activities in this area.
